We have had halloween all week. Monday we went to Bass Pro, where the kids colored a pumpkin and got a little candy.

Wednesday we carved pumpkins at home. Mason wanted to carve his own pumpkin so we let him carve his little one from Bass Pro. The kids loved scooping out the goop this year and had a great time throwing it at each other. Needless to say, they were covered in pumpkin goo. The pumpkins turned out great...Thank Ryan for doing such a great job carving them.

Friday we went to Hy-Vee and then around the neighborhood trick or treating. This was tons of fun. We love going to Hy-Vee because they get juice, cookies, granola bars, balloons, and apples. We have such a wonderful neighborhood so we always end up trick or treating as a group. The kids love to run from house to house getting candy and just being kids.

Here is Jango Fett (Bounty Hunter in Star Wars), baby pumpkin, and the beautiful Snow White.
MMM, fingers...they look nasty, but they tasted good (breadsticks filled with meat and cheese) and more importantly the kids ate before going out to get candy.
