New Friend
Ryan found this frog on the side of the house on Thursday morning. The kids love frogs and named this one Batman. He stayed with us until Saturday morning.

Pies, Pies, and more Pies
10 pies in two days! Our church is having their annual BBQ this weekend and needed homemade pies (enough to feed over 2,000 people), so I decided to help out. I made all the crust the night before and then baked all the pies the next day. They aren't much to look at but hopefully they will taste good.

Jodie
I just wanted to share a few pictures of Jodie. She changes so much everyday.
Jodie is so close to crawling. She gets up, rocks back and forth, and then lunges forward. She also rolls all over the floor.
Here is Jodie in her bouncy seat. She loves to bounce, swing, and turn all around. I have to keep a really close eye because the big kids love to "help" her swing and bounce!
Here is Jodie taking a bath in her duck tub. This was the best $10 investment! It even quacks.

Superheros have invaded
Batman and Darth Vader working together to bring good to the universe (or at least our house)!?!

We are very lucky to have superheros living with us now.. I feel so safe!
Gotta show off the capes!

Mason (aka Batman, aka Bruce Wayne) got his new outfit for being such a big helper with Ryley the first day of swimming lessons. He wears it all the time and has it in the van just in case. I have also been informed that he will be changing his name to Batman or Bruce Wayne when he is 18.

Swimming Lessons
The kids started swimming lessons this week. Monday started with Mason and Ryley both in the pool, but Ryley got scared and sat on the side. Tuesday Ryley stayed on the side again (45min.) while Mason played and had fun. Wed. Mason tried to go up a level but got scared and came back to his original class, while Ryley watched. However, Ryley decided to join a group of girls her age and has now found a group (and instructor) that she likes. So finally on Thursday both kids were in the pool with their groups and loving it!
Mason wanted to wear his goggles today.

Ryley also had to wear her goggles. They are playing "ring around the hot dog".
Here is Ryley playing "motorboat". She sticks her tounge out when she is concentrating.

Fishing Fun
Here are some pictures of us at Bass Pro Reel Time for Kids. This is an annual event and we have been three years in a row. The kids have a blast. This year it was a little windy so we didn't stay too long.

Ahhh, what a peaceful scene.
Ryley with the only fish caught by our family at Bass Pro. She was happy that it was a little fish.
Mason with his prize. Ryley caught the fish and Mason won the prize so it was a good day all around.

Spring Tee Ball
This is after the last Spring game. Jodie fell asleep during the game and Ryley was really enjoying her ice cream!! We have really liked going to Spring tee ball games and are looking forward to the Summer season starting next week.

Mason got a medal and hasn't wanted to put it down, he even slept with it. Ryley's favorite part of tee ball has been playing in the dirt with Addison and Austin and the snacks after the game.
Here is Mason getting a hit at one of our last games for Spring.
